Luke Stoppard has kindly given us his wild life sightings for November which are listed below :-

• I did a water birds count on the lake on Sunday November 11th and I got:

• 10 Moorhens

• 3 Coots

• 52 Mallards

• 2 Great Crested Grebes

• 5 Mute Swans

• 1 Kingfisher
   

• I did a water birds count on the lake on Tuesday November 13th and I got:

• 1 Water Rail, Heard and seen in reeds at the bottom end of the lake.

• 12 Moorhens

• 4 Coots

• 2 Great Crested Grebe

• 5 Mute Swan

• 1 Grey Wagtail

• I didn't bother counting the Mallards, but there are usually 52.
   

• I did a water birds count on the lake on Sunday November 25th and I got:

• 1 Water Rail (In reeds at bottom end of lake)

• 1 Common Gull

• 1 Lesser Black-Backed Gull

• 1 Herring Gull

• 84 Black-Headed Gull

• 3 Mute Swan (Only 2 cygnets and last years cygnet left)

• 65 Mallard

• 4 Coot

• 14 Moorhen

• 2 Great Crested Grebe

• 1 Kingfisher (on river)

• 1 Grey Wagtail
